Privacy Policy

Kuumo is an independent flight deal alert service operated from Malaysia. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012.

Information we collect

• Email address, when you join our email list so we can send you deals.
• Telegram username or ID, if you choose to join our Telegram channel. This is held by Telegram under their own terms.
• Basic usage and device data, such as the pages you visit and your browser type, collected automatically to help us understand what is useful and to keep the service running.

We do not ask for or store payment card details. When paid subscriptions launch, billing will be handled by a third party payment processor (such as Stripe or Lemon Squeezy) who collect that information directly under their own privacy terms. We never handle your flight booking payment.

How we use your information

• To send you flight deals and service updates you signed up for.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the website and the deals we surface.
• To respond to your questions and support requests.
• To meet legal and record keeping obligations.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run Kuumo, and only as far as they need it. These may include:

• An email delivery provider, to send you the deals you subscribed to.
• Telegram, if you join the channel.
• A payment processor, once paid subscriptions exist.
• Analytics providers, to understand site usage. Deal links may also point to airlines, travel sites, and affiliate partners, who handle any data you share with them under their own policies.

We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working and to measure usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then work less smoothly.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe, we stop sending you deals and remove your email from the active list.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you can:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you and request a copy.
• Ask us to correct data that is wrong or out of date.
• Withdraw your consent and ask us to stop processing your data.
• Unsubscribe from emails at any time, using the link in any email or by writing to us.

Children

Kuumo is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we will remove it.

Our deals link out to airlines, travel sites, and partners we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please read their policies before sharing data with them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be announced on our channel.
